The Sands, how we miss you. You birthed The Rat Pack, gave us The Copa Room, inspired "Oceans Eleven" (the original), and you even made a brief appearance in "Con Air." You were the cool place to hang in Vegas before hanging in Vegas was cool. But now you're gone, and the gaudy Venetian sits in your place. For the record, indoor gondola rides suck.
