It was exactly 16 years ago today that it happened. Long before my time living in the San Fernando Valley, the 1994 Northridge earthquake killed 72 people and did $20 billion dollars in damage. Catastrophic, but just a drop in the bucket compared to what is going on in Haiti right now. If you can spare it, give money to the cause, and if you can't, keep those people in your thoughts. Together we can make a difference.
